The Customer Advantage is a great new idea/web startup in pre-launch right now. I've watched it grow from 4,800 members to almost 25,000 in the last month. I believe it will continue to grow and will grow faster and faster as the word gets out. Why? Because it's such a tremendous idea!

eBay is probably the quickest way to make money from home. If you have stuff to sell that others want to buy, whether new or used, you can usually make sales within a couple of days depending upon how you set up your auction. But, unless you've really got a LOT of stuff sitting around that you need to sell and it's selling well, you probably aren't going to make a lot of money quickly with eBay.

With that said, there are a lot of people that are making a great living selling on eBay. Many people use eBay as an extension of their brick and mortar or online store. Unless you are selling foods, guns, or something else that eBay forbids, there is really not a good reason to not take advantage of the marketing power of eBay. Of course, some items will sell better than others, but there are really not items to small or too big - from jewelry to cars and from tools to antiques - most all types of items can be sold on eBay.

If you have a lot of knowledge in a particular area, or if you are dedicated to becoming the expert in a particular area, or even if you are good at pulling the right experts together, you can create a membership site. Or better yet, you just have to build a community around members who are interested in talking about the same topic. Once your community gets big enough and has enough valuable information to make it a 'members only' community, you can start charging a monthly subscription.

Item Number 4 on my list of 10 Ways to Make Money From Home (or anywhere) With Your Computer is becoming a Virtual Assistant. One of the buzzwords in the business world is 'outsourcing'. Many business professionals, small businesses, and entrepreneurs are outsourcing all kinds of projects so becoming a Virtual Assistant can be very profitable.

Many small businesses, sole proprietors and entrepreneurs can't afford to hire employees. They don't want the overhead of employment taxes, health insurance, benefits, and the other expenses that come along with hiring full-time employees. Not only that, but many don't need anyone full-time - they only need someone for a few hours a day, week or month.

Yesterday, my world changed, again. I clicked on the facebook link that my friend posted and landed on The Customer Advantage website. This company has taken a step further and made it so much better for the entire community. They've made it more social and given it more of an incentive to join. The more I study it, the more I think it's truly a genius idea. Imagine getting paid when your friend saves money! That's exactly what they've done!

Last week I posted an article about 10 ways to make money from home (or anywhere) with your computer. Number 2 on that list was 'Web Applications', which is what I want to discuss today.

Web applications can be the hardest way to get started and take the most money, but can be one of the most profitable. Basically, a web application is a website which provides a service to the user. Facebook would be a good example. Other examples are LinkedIn, MyOutdoorCalendar, CatalogOfDreams, and Dropbox. These are websites, but they deliver more than just information - they allow you to interact with them and they provide you with a service. Until recently, the only way to use software applications like these, was on your local hard drive on your own computer.

The way to true prosperity is through helping others get what they want.

Since you really need a website to help you make more money, I want to provide you with one for free. I am automating the process so that it doesn't take all my time setting them up for you. That way I can spend more of my time helping you with other things and neither of us will have to worry too much about the technical details of setting up the website.
