National Karate Tournament

We just got back from another karate tournament.  This time it was the Bluegrass Nationals in Louisville, KY.  I only had one child competing this time, Matthew – my oldest (13).  He did well!  He received 3rd place in sparring in his division (Intermediate, 12-13yo short boys).  I am SO proud of him.  Of course, we feel that he should have gotten first place since his loss was caused by a warning he received (with which we didn’t agree).  But, then again, all’s fair in love and war, right?
